Holiday Dance Party and Tango Workshop
Ring in the cheer this season on the dance floor! The Touch of Gold Holiday Dance and Social event kicks off December 11th with a potluck with Bozeman’s friendly dance community at 6:30 pm followed by dancing from 7:00-midnight to a lively holiday-themed live and DJ’ed mix of ballroom, country, swing, latin and tango music, at the Bozeman Senior Social Center at 807 N. Tracy at Tamarack.
Catch lively performance demos from local dancers and join in fun, interactive dance mixers and holiday games. Singles, couples and families welcome, no dance experience is necessary – just come and join the party! Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided, bring a potluck dish, snack or dessert to share. Suggested attire is dressy casual or holiday festive, with a touch of gold (optional)! Admission is $12 per person at the door, $8 for students, free for children 12 and under. The end of the evening will feature alternative Tango dancing, as part of the Tango Gold Weekend featuring world-renowned visiting instructor Vania Rey with workshops and dances December 10-14.
Both events are sponsored by Dance Kinexion and Moon River Entertainment which offers social dance classes, and wedding and event dance and DJ services.
