What better way to kick off your holidays with a festive and fun dance party! The Bozeman Folklore Society will host the Family Christmas Dance, Saturday, December 19th at 5:30pm, followed by a Contra Dance starting at 7:30pm. Live music will be provided by Da Skekklers for the family dance and Weatherwood for the Contra Dance, both featuring caller Rab Cummings. The festive evening also includes a potluck dinner at 6:30pm.
A half an hour dance workshop begins at 7:30 dancing and merriment to continue until 11pm. Admission to the Family Dance is $15 per family. Admission to the Contra Dance is $10, $8 for Bozeman Folklore Society members, and $5 for MSU students. All events will be held at the Masonic Lodge at 14 S Tracy Ave. The Bozeman Folklore Society is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, preserving, enjoying and sharing the music, dance, arts, crafts, and skills of traditional cultures.
