The Bozeman Public Library offers more than just a vast selection of books, periodicals, and movies to its many pass-holders. The staff is excited to host a number of live music and other events throughout the month. So when you’re not getting lost in the stacks, come check out one of these fun events at your community sponsored Bozeman Public Library. Popular chamber music series Noon Notes comes to the library, the first Monday of every month, from noon to 1pm.
This event is free and open to the public. Co-sponsored by the Montana Chamber Music Society and hosted by Bozeman Library Foundation, the six-part series features local musicians discussing and playing chamber music with a goal of instilling a new or refreshed appreciation of this time-period music. Join in for the next concert on November 2nd with Sarah Broomell on piano, Gregory Young on clarinet, and the new trumpet and theory instructor at MSU, Sarah Stoneback. The musicians will play movements from Bernstein Clarinet Sonata, Poulenc Clarinet Sonata and Milhaud Scaramouche. Yoga for All continues Tuesdays in November.
Karen Averitt returns to the Library on November 10th for the 11-11:45am class (MacKenzie will be here on the 3rd), and Jen DuCharme continues with her 12-12:45pm restorative practice. The Wonderlust Friday Forum will feature Jonathan Motl, Montana Commissioner of Political Practices. Due to the Used Book Sale in the Large Community Room, Friday Forum will be held at Pilgrim Church this month on Nov 13th at noon. The Bozeman Public Library is located at 626 E. Main Street.
