Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration 2016 on Jan. 19 at 6:30pm in the Emerson

Montana State University will present Martin Luther King, Jr. Day Celebration 2016 on Tuesday, January 19th at 6:30pm in the Crawford Theater at the Emerson Center. Members of the Bozeman community will share stories and perspectives of civil rights, Martin Luther King, and social injustice issues. Come enjoy a variety of exciting, inspiring, and thought-provoking presentations in honor of Martin Luther King Day. The Celebration will feature PechaKucha-style presentations by community members on various aspects of MLK’s legacy, history, and present day implications. The pecha kucha format is such that speakers show 20 digital images that advance automatically every 20 seconds while the presenter speaks about an idea, story, initiative, or project for 6 minutes and 40 seconds. Speakers from the Bozeman community have been invited to present inspirational, thought-provoking, creative, and profound stories related to Martin Luther King Day.
