The USGS Northern Rocky Mountain Science Center and the Montana Society for Conservation Biology would like to announce the next installment in a quarterly lecture series titled, “Science in our Backyard – A Community Lecture Series with Bozeman Biologists.” For the next event, U.S. Geological Survey scientist Dr. Frank van Manen will present “Forty Years of Scientific Discovery on Yellowstone Grizzly Bears” The event will be held on Monday, December 14th at 6:30 pm at the Bozeman Public Library. The “Science in our Backyard” series stimulates conversations about critical topics in the Greater Yellowstone region and provide a venue that helps to bridge the research, non-profit, agricultural and recreational communities that work and play in our amazing backyard. Admission is free.
