The Christmas Stroll has been one of the longest standing Bozeman community traditions! Each year, the Downtown Bozeman Association and the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture team up to put out a “call for artists” for the official Christmas Stroll Poster design. Several beautiful and creative designs were submitted this year, but we could only choose one. As the icing on top, this year the Downtown Bozeman Association and the Emerson pooled together $200 to give as a cash prize to the winning artist.
The 2015 Christmas Stroll Poster Contest Winner is local artist, Seth Neilson! Seth, a Bozeman photographer and illustration artist, created a nostalgic digital art piece of Santa in spurs featuring the Bridger mountains in the background and traditional Christmas red and black colors and textures. The Bozeman community is sure to remember this creative, fun-spirited, and festive design for years to come!
Seth will be on-hand signing posters at the Gingerbread House making activity at the Emerson on the day of the Stroll, December 5th from 1-2pm. More information about artist Seth Neilson is available on his website at http://www.sethsquatch.com/.
