Wheatgrass Saloon presents Betsy Hall’s “Dogs of Livingston” for September
Art Walk
Livingston MT is a small town informed by the beauty of its location and the diversity of its residents. The residents, however, do seem to have two things in common: a love of fly-fishing and a love of dogs. Almost every car and truck is graced by a dog head at the window.
Betsy Hall has been commissioned to paint over 700 portraits of people and their pets from all over the world in the past 30+ years, Now she adds 30 more oils of assorted local breeds and mutts with her show “Dog Days of Livingston”. Each one captures the unique personality of the subject with a lightheartedness that has always been Betsy’s signature style.
The show will also include a small number of other paintings of “dogs doing what dogs do”.
Betsy will be taking new commissions at the opening.
Dog Days of Livingston opens on Friday, September 25th for the Art Walk upstairs at Wheatgrass Saloon on Main St. and will be up for one month.
